Form 12 and Form 12 D
The Election Commission of India has introduced the following facilities for the forth coming General Elections.
- Postal voting facility for senior voters above 80 years.
- Postal voting facility for differently abled voters.
- Postal voting facility for Covid-19 affected/suspected.
- Polling station officials will conduct a house-to-house survey to collect information from voters interested in availing the above facilities. During this period, eligible voters who are interested should register and make use of the opportunity provided by the Election Commission of India.
- If you submit Form 12D, polling officers will visit your home to facilitate postal voting.
- If you choose postal voting and submit Form 12D, you will not be permitted to vote in person at the polling station.
