RECENT ACTIVITIES :

  1. Inauguration of New Out Patient Block and Blood Bank building of estimate of Rupees 90 Lakhs by Honorable Chief Minister through video conference at Government Headquarters Hospital,
  2. PCPNDT Act – 1994 awareness and orientation workshop was conducted on 05.2017 to all Scan Centre Owners, Scan Doctors, Obstetricians. District collector Sir inaugurated the workshop. Dr.S.Gurunathan, M.S., Joint Director from Office of the Directorate of Medical and Rural Health Services, Chennaiconducted the workshop. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Judicial Magistrate No 1, Judicial Magistrate No 2, Fast Track Magistrate attended the meeting and gave valuable inputs about the act.
  3. Amma Arokiya Thittam is functioning in Government Headquarters Hospital, Pennagaram, Government Hospitals, Harur and Palacode.
  4. Dialysis Centre is functioning successfully from 17.06.2017 in Government Headquarters Hospital, Pennagaram.

FUTURE PLANS :

  1. To increase the Bed Strength in all Four Government Hospitals as per the guidelines of Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS).
  2. To improve the infrastructure in Government hospitals new buildings are sanctioned for maternity and child care centre in Government Hospital, Palacode (Rs.2.14 Crores) and SNCU Building for Government Hospital, Harur (90.20 Lakhs).
  3. Government Orders issued for Administrative Building complex (Rs.2 Crores) for Joint Director of Health Services, Deputy Director of Medical and Rural Health Services and Family Welfare, Deputy Director of Medical Services in Collectorate
  4. Dialysis Units will be started in Government Hospital, Harur and Palacode.
  5. Emergency Resuscitation Room is to be established in all four Government
  6. Primary Health Centre of Nallampalli and Karimangalam to be upgraded as Government Taluk Hospitals
  7. 20 Bedded Ante Natal and Post Natal ward for pregnant mothers (Rs.40 Lakhs) is constructing in Government Hospital, Harur.
  8. Hon’ble Chief Minister announced a new building (Rs.6 Crores) for Government Hospital, Palacode.
