Horticulture and Plantation Crops

1.INTEGRATED HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT SCHEME

  • Minor fruit crops :(Rambutan, Litchi, Persimmon, Avacado, Kiwi, passion fruit, etc) Rs. 30000 per hectare given as subsidy.
  • Traditional fruit & Vegetable cultivars Scheme, Rs. 15000 per hectare given as subsidy.
  • Dry land crops (Jamun, Amla, tamarind, etc.,) Scheme, Rs. 20000 per hectare given as subsidy.
  • Vegetable seed kit distribution (Brinjal, Bhendi, Moringa, Snake Gourd, Bitter Gourd, Tomato, Cluster Bean), Rs 10 per kit given as subsidy. Per Family Eligible for benefit 6 Kits.

Eligibility Condition

  • All farmers are eligible. Priority to be given for SF/MF/SC/ST/Women and other farmers.
  • The selected farmers should have own land/ leased land (10 years registered lease)
  • The selected farmers should be an account holder in order to facilitate the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
  • The beneficiary should produce evidence of AADHAR card/Ration card/Voter ID.
  • Farmers have to make their own arrangement for transportation of planting materials.
  • Fund allocation to be made as 79.843% for General, 19.147 % for SC, 1.01% for ST and overall 30% for women farmers.
  • Each farmer can avail a maximum of 2 Ha for vegetables and 4Ha for Fruits.
  • The assistance for inputs like water soluble fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and bio inputs should be provided as back ended subsidy.
  • The farmer can choose the local fruit and vegetable variety specific to that area.
  • If the required planting material cost exceeds the subsidy amount, the excess amount should borne by the farmers.

2.NATIONAL AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

  • Under Onion Development Scheme, Rs. 20000 per hectare given as subsidy.
  • Pandal : To set up permanent Pandal structure, Rs. 200000 per hectare given as subsidy
  • Promotion of Organic farming: Incentive for Organic Cultivation (Greens) Rs. 2500 per hectare, Organic Cultivation (Bhendi/Brinjal/ Tomato) Rs. 3750 per hectare, Organic Cultivation (Cabbage/Cauliflower) Rs. 5000 per hectare given as subsidy.

  • The selected farmers should have own land/ leased land (10 years registered lease)
  • The selected farmers should be an account holder in order to facilitate the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
  • The beneficiary should produce evidence of AADHAR card/Ration card/Voter ID.
  • Farmers have to make their own arrangement for transportation of planting materials.
  • All farmers group and individual farmers who have applied for NPOP certification are eligible
  • All the assets created under NADP should be geo tagged by using BHUVAN-RKVY mobile application which is mandatory.
  • Fund allocation to be made as 80% for General, 19 % for SC,1 % for ST and overall 30% for women farmers.

3.COLLECTIVE FARMING

The concept of Collective farming is to identify small and marginal farmers in a contiguous area and group them as Farmer’s Interest Groups (FIG) with 20 farmers. 5 FIG’s would be integrated into Farmer Producer Group (FPG) with 100 farmers. FIG and FPG are to be encouraged to adopt collective cultivation, collective purchasing of inputs to access credit facilities and market linkages.

  • All farmers are eligible. Priority to be given for SF/MF/SC/ST/Women and other farmers.
  • Preference should be given to small farmer families.
  • Tenant farmers are also eligible to become members by providing proper lease document.

4.PRADHAN MANTRI KRISHI SINCHAYEE YOJANA

Under this scheme, to emphasis efficient use of irrigation water, farmers are being encouraged to set up micro irrigation facility through financial assistance of 100 % subsidy to small and marginal farmers and 75 % subsidy to big farmers. A beneficiary can get financial assistance up to 5 ha. Farmers who are all already benefited can also get subsidy for renew the laterals after seven years.

Eligibility Condition

  • The total financial assistance available to the beneficiary under the micro irrigation scheme from both Central and State Governments would be 55% for small & marginal farmers & 45% for other farmers
  • The subsidy payable to the beneficiary will be limited to an overall ceiling of 5 hectare per beneficiary
  • Those beneficiaries, who have already availed subsidy benefits for his /her farm, can not avail the assistance for the next seven years.
  • If a beneficiary has more than one crop with different crop spacing being grown separately in his/her land holding, assistance will be available for installing the drip irrigation system as per the individual crop spacing, the combined area of which will not exceed 5 ha per beneficiary.

Chitta and adangal, FMB sketch, Aadhaar Card, Soil and water test reports for cultivation related components, Farmers belong to Small and Marginal category should provide SF/MF Certificate,
Farmer those who have lease land should provide water and land lease document (7 years registered lease)
Passport size photos (3 Nos)
